General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum Names Program Manager

For Immediate Release:  May 11, 2020

(HOBART, Okla.) – The General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum is pleased to announce Jace Zacharias as its new program manager. Zacharias brings experience in business management, recruitment and outreach. 
 
Zacharias joins the staff team comprised of Executive Director D’Lese Travis, Finance Manager Adelita Cumm, Museum Manager Scott Cumm and Collections Manager Steven Groff.
 
“Jace will be a great asset to our team and we are excited to welcome him,” said D’Lese Travis, executive director. “We’re eager to grow and further develop our outreach and programming with his leadership and fresh perspective.”
 
Zacharias is responsible for leadership training and programming, organization and development of the Museum’s programs and special events and volunteer coordination. He will focus on the Four Star Leadership program, the Museum’s Mobile Classroom and Road Show and special events such as the Celebration of Freedom.
 
Zacharias earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Management from Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he served as the vice president of the student government association and the president of Phi Beta Lambda. He is the co-author of an internationally published peer-reviewed journal article in the Transnational Journal of Business.
 
“I have a passion for helping others elevate themselves to the best possible version of themselves,” said Zacharias.
 
The General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum was created as a historical foundation dedicated to telling the story of the United States military and education.
