Each poster is accompanied with a biography and photo of each recipient from the Civil War to the present.

A poster from the movie “Hacksaw Ridge” is included to commemorate Medal of Honor recipient Desmond Doss as well as a GI Joe of World War II Medal of Honor recipient Mitchell Paige. An additional display highlights Teddy Roosevelt and his son, Teddy Roosevelt Jr., one of two father and son Medal of Honor recipients.
Visitors can also view the museum’s permanent Medal of Honor display showcasing a U.S. Army Medal of Honor and the General Franks Patriot Award from the Medal of Honor Society.
“The Medal of Honor exhibit is a prominent representation of America’s past accomplishments,” said General Tommy Franks. “The display tells the story of those who have made an enormous impact on our country.”
