Understanding Community Understanding

“You don’t have to write rules about how to make communities better, you just have to understand.”
- Joe Crookham, founder UCU
Program Challenge Guidelines

Participating 2018 Four Star Leadership alumni submitted their applications to participate in the challenge with the following requirements:  descriptions of the issues to be addressed, results hoped to achieve, and an outline of the action plan to achieve the desired results including milestones, a statement of metrics to measure effectiveness and consideration of potential team members to support the plan. Interim reports with details of project progress are to be submitted and feedback will be provided. Interim project reports due Feb. 1, 2019. Final reports due May 15, 2019. Winners announced June 1, 2019

Final reports will describe:
  • What the project has achieved.
  • What lessons were learned.
  • The plan to sustain successes and overcome shortfalls (i.e. plan for achievement sustainability).
